Weekend Meets
These occur every two or three
weeks. We leave Edinburgh on a Friday afternoon (or evening) and return on the
Sunday night. Any trips that extend to the Monday are denoted lw (long
weekend). For a list of venues for 2002 (and some of 2003) check the calendar - any changes will appear here, in club circulars,
and at indoor meets.
Interest in a weekend trip is not
needed by the meet secretary until the Monday 11 days prior to a meet.
Unfortunately members will be
liable for hut fees if they cancel their booking at the last minute - generally
seen as any time after the Wednesday immediately prior to the meet. This
especially applies to trips to Muir of Inverey, CIC, Ling, Glen Strathfarrar,
Coruisk, Strawberry Cottage, Raeburn and Elphin. If a meet is oversubscribed
within the first two days of booking, places will be allocated by ballot. For
